Q. What is art restoration?
A. Art or painting restoration is the cleaning and repair of artwork. We clean off the
dirt and old varnish which becomes yellow with age. We then repair holes or tears
and repaint in the missing parts and re-varnish the painting.
We tighten the canvas and repair and refinish the frame.
Q. How long does the restoration of a painting take?
A. It takes a minimum of 4 days to restore a small painting including drying time. It
can take up to 5 weeks to restore a large, badly damaged painting.
